Woohoo got DLA backpay

After several months of applying, reconsideration, new application etc my dd has been awarded high rate care and low rate mobility due to her epilepsy. Only heard over the phone last wed and the letter hasnt come yet, but they did pay over £2800 into my account this morning.

Thanks. Going to take her at the weekend to get a laptop, will be really useful for her homework, catch up on any schoolwork shes missed when shes off/appts etc. as she needs to be supervised all the time it will mean she can be at the kitchen table doing work whilst i am cooking dinner.
something so simple but will make life a hell of a lot easier for her and me. 0
