Carefull who you bok with just noticed this on thier web site
hotel blocked 15.05.07-27.05.07 you will get bumped if you book in those dates which is probably why I couldnt find it DIY in your original dates

Hi-Checked all 15 of our accom .suppliers-not available with any....however can 20 2/5, Manchester, 1030 flight (nice! No idea!! If it's not available from all our companies-including the trade ony sites...then I'd be hesitant to book it self-build/diy-an awfull lot of 'bumping' goes on at the 4/5* end of Greece!

Also-agree about a/i's in Greece-BUT if you stick with a chain (iberostar/MITSIS_I'm booked in with them to Crete) you have no problems. I've actually done 4 MITSIS hotels-all fab!

Sorry-'bumping' means taking a booking knowing full well the Hotel is full & 'bumping' you to a similar quality hotel....but they don't tell you until you get there (to minimise complaints from you!)....very naughty but at the top end of the Greek market the Hoteliers are greedy & can routinely overbook. When they look at who to 'bump' it's usually the poor person who's booked directly or via the web-they don't tend to 'bump' big ATOL agents who give them a lot of business.

Even Thomsons will bump you all be it they will offer you compensation but thats no good if you want that hotel..either book the 2-9th if you want that hotel or one of the Mitis offers that Chris as come up with.
I wouldnt book with Atlantic direct much more chance of you getting bumped over a Thomsons guest
