Hi Guys, been having a bit of aggro today with my laptop;I,ve ran everything Malwarebytes, spybot, boot scan Avast, nothing showing now, but had to turn pc back to restore,this morning, because it wouldn,t shut down,to do a boot scan. and windows said to use restore point, which I did to fix it
, just downloaded latest google chrome.and Noticed chinese writing on task bar, right clicked to close, wouldn,t do it.
Task manager said chinese program was running, so ended it, ok
No idea what it was, but obviously still on my pc, but cannot locate it. Any help appreciated.It,s not in all programs.
If I post a Hijack this, will someone have a look for me please?
:beer:
EDIT. Just tried downloading hijack, and IE stopping it, it did this with Chrome as well.both from filehippo.com

    Hi waddler, thanks for checking.
    It,s working ok at present, but it was ok yesterday till I decided to do a boot scan, that,s when it wouldn,t close.
    did it with on/off,then bios said start normal, or normal with fix(recomended) so did that.
    It recommended restore point, did that,to before new version of malwarebytes download, then tried malwarebytes , having already used it, (corrupted) so redownloaded,it again and ran everything, nowt showing, then chinese dialogue writing in box on tray.
    right click,nowt. left click, same icon, on top left screen, so closed it with task manager.
    haven,t a clue where it came from or what it was, no description, (can,t read chinese, only munber 10).just wondered if it was lurking in background;;;;never come across it before.
    then IE kept blocking downloads from filehippo, malwarebytes/chrome update,hijackthis,. so used chrome;;;ok;;;.ain,t tried IE yet to download;;;
    I,ll keep my eye on it, appreciate everything, :beer:
