hello im looking for some reasurace please
i filled a claim for to help with persciptions
this is what benefits myself and husband gets
me claiming incapicty benefit
high rate mobility allowance
husband is claiming carers allowance (for looking after adult daughter)
income support top up
when i filled in the form i told them what we were claiming
today i got a letter back saying i dont need help from them because as my husband is claiming income support i can have free perscriptions
i felt something was wrong as i am not on my husbands claim so i phoned them up and said i was claiming in my own right and guy on phone said it dosent matter if im on my husbands claim or not as income support was coming into the house i can get free persciptions
is this right
when i do get my medication and fill in back of form i feel i will be doing wrong and dont want to get into trouble
