Next.co.uk credit?

Hello!

I am really sorry if this is not the right board to place this post (please move if it isn't).

So I am very confused here. I just placed an order online at next.co.uk using an account that I have created when I lived in another address. I changed the delivery address and thought that I would be prompted to enter my debit card details to pay for the order. However, I just got a confirmation of the order saying that I don't need to pay anything now. I got very confused and checked my account and it shows there that I have some kind of credit of them. I have never asked for credit and I am very confused with this. Does this mean that I will now receive those directory catalogs and have to pay for them? How can I get out of this credit account?

Sorry for all the questions but this is really strange for me.
Thank you,
Alexandra

Well you have not read the terms then when you placed your order as it clearly states that you will be opening a credit account. You do get the option though of paying by card so not sure why you did not do this. It is clearly shown so not sure how you missed it.

You can pay the balnce and ask them to close the account, just ring them up.

I don't know. I really didn't see it! So isn't there a way of ordering at next.co.uk without getting a credit account?

Yes but you have to look very carefully and unfortunetly you have to go through register pages to get to the option.
