Three cats

We have an old female cat (15 years) who has enjoyed living with us on her own. My daughter moved out and has now come home with 2 12 month old kittens (one male and one female) both neutered. Amber (old cat) can cope with the male but absolutely hates the female. Anyone got any ideas the female is very small for her age and very very nervous but a lovely little thing. We have tried giving Amber treats and spoiling her but nothing seems to help. We cannot leave them on there own for a moment as Amber chases little puss around the house. We now call little puss Petrified Puss!! I have contemplated buying those plug ins - but we have a farily large house and it would be too expensive (particularly if they didnt work). Thanks for reading .

Give Petrified Puss a hideaway so she can keep out of the way of the old girl - a puppy crate with a cosy bed in would be a start, so you can go out without thinking she's going to be eaten.
Other than that, cat politics are quite brutal and outside the ken of mere humans. They might end up quite civil to one another just by you letting this sort itself out, only intervening where bloodshed seems likely. The chasing could be them actually beginning to get along.
My old girl was horrified when I got a rescue cat - refused to go near her, hissed and spat and made a right pain of herself.
They now stick together and share a mutual disdain for the latest addition. But have been spotted playing chasing games where you'd think the young one was being a bully, but they aren't actually upset when you catch up with them, they're quite relaxed and were treating it as a race to avoid the nuisance boy.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Try Feliway diffusers, you normally need one per floor and you could start with whichever one floor or area is most used. You should not need to pay for this, your daughter should because she introduced the kittens which upset your cat. Last time I checked they were cheapest on eBay. There are loads of videos on YouTube regarding introductions and helping cats to get on.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I have 3 cats and the first cat I got (female) has hated the next 2 additions. They will all happily eat out the same bowl, even sleep in the same proximity, but if the other 2 try and playfight with her she has a fit and runs off hissing and snorting as she does so, usually she bops the kitten in the face as he is a menace and she is probably sick of him (know the feeling)
2 male cats are always play fighting and generally being bromantic with each other. I find females less tolerant (from seeing other peoples cats too, not just my anti social one lol)0 -
I've used dog crates a lot of times ands when I then let the new cat out, the others are usually already too bored to taken any notice of it.
I have an FIV+ cathouse, and all newly incoming residents go in the unit in a crate first, and I've then never had any problem with fighting, and that's even with most of the residents in there being ex fighting tomcats (neutered the day I get them
) DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0
