new 'estimated delivery date' shows incorrect schedule

something isn’t quite right with this ‘new’ system.

an item purchased today with 2 day seller handling time + royal mail 2nd class standard (3-5 working days) service should show a 5-7 working day delivery schedule ie ‘Tue 16 Oct and Thu 18 Oct’

well.it now shows a 4-6 working day schedule (Mon. 15 Oct and Wed 17 Oct)

So is it Monday 16 or Tuesday 16?

I think they count Saturdays for Royal Mail unless it's a next day delivery/Special delivery which aren't guaranteed Saturday. We all get normal post on Saturdays.

it is definately a glitch. check any of your order pages before the change that has the same handlng time + delivery service. and then check an order placed in the last few days. there will be a differnce.

No, it says...

Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays are not usually included in dispatch or transit times

That doesn't mean they aren't ever counted.

There has been a thread on the PS board re delivery times of late and I understand the Saturday issue was amended to preclude courier, special delivery and RMTND only.

My listings are displaying as they should.
