I have played with the dragon and it was crud. Some of it was me and some was dragon.

Saying that it was 90% correct, which sounds brilliant, but means that you are correcting one to two words every line.

words I learned to hate: there, there are, their; 1, on, one, won; to, too, 2, two; three, 3, tree, 4. four, for; which, witch; and they go on and on.

If you have a cold, sniffle or a sore throat then forget being recognised, might as well get your dog to try.

Now if you see a live demo, firstly the guys precisely positions the mike, then read a set piece. They have actually killed the 30000 word dictionary and only put the words from the set piece in it. If you see a live demo, ask them to read from a news paper and they will tell you later and hopefully you will forget. However when later comes they will avoid you like the plague and have no time - a few years ago we had a demo from IBM whom over a few days tried to sell us this.

Strangely enough, but with hind site it makes sense, longer the word, the more chance it has picking it up, but some of the short words make for a hard life.

The speed of finding, and correcting mistakes is slower then typing it correctly first time around (a round) and I'm a two fingered typist.

Useful Dragon phrases that you will always remember "scratch that" "delete previous word" and "go back"
