well i'm sorry to hear that, but at least there is no lasting damage, & to be honest unless they were going to replace the rubber seals in your gutter joins i wouldn't be removing the gutter to clean it in the first place, as it will prob leak when it is put back together.

Sad isnt it , that no-marks spoil it for other young people trying to make their way. Re the gutter by the way, they were not removing it, it was just they were trowelling the rubbish out of it before embarking on cleaning the plastic..--well, would have been if the work had continured.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that. It saddens and annoys me that we have to have such a club, particularly as the main losers are those genuine people trying to sell goods and services at the door. I don't know what proportion of 'door knockers' are genuine, I imagine very few, but it must be very tough for them.
