cat weeing more, no other symptoms

Just after opinions really...
My cat is 8 years old, healthy etc, but for the last couple of days has been weeing more (not excessively but maybe 4 times a day)
They are big wees, not dribbles, no sign of blood in it, no signs of discomfort when going etc. She is her normal self in every other way - good appetite still playing and acting normally.
Thing is she is absolutely terrified of going to the vets - poos herself, is sick, hyperventolates the full works, so we don't take her unless completely necessary and once a year for boosters and full health check.
We are going to be away for one day from tomorrow lunchtime till Thursday lunchtime - so should we get this checked out today, just in case even though she doesn't appear ill, which will distress her (the vets visit) or just see how she gets on? Obviously if it worsens we would take her today or tomorrow.

Take her to the vet.
It's an obvious answer and you know it already.
It could mean she is drinking more, she could have diabetes, there could be a uti, anything - so don't feed her in the morning (so if she needs a bloodtest or urine sample, she doesn't have to return) and wear old clothes.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

I agree with Jojo, go to the vet, if you can get a urine sample before it will save the vet trying to express your cats bladder. Your cat is probably drinking more, and that does need to be investigated.
If it is say a bit of kidney trouble, the earlier you go to the vets and get it sorted, the less chance she will end up staying in the vets on a drip. A short trip now may save her having any overnight stays.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0 -
We are not permitted to give veterinary advice on here, please ask the vet to do a home visit or see if you can pick up a sedative in advance.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
