I have not heard of any vouchers being delivered. I asked at the Post Office about this offer. First cashier asked if I have received a letter about this, said no. She then asked another cashier who produced a form which I think is the voucher. Hope u are following me. These vouchers can also be found at the `age uk` office.

Well I have not asked at the Post Office as yet. What concerns me is that the Royal Mail website and the National press all advise that "Voucher leaflets are being delivered to all residential addresses between 8 and 18 October."

Seems to me that all residential addresses should have had a leaflet telling them how to get the reduced price stamps, if they qualify

It's now the 8th of November and I don't know of a single person who has received a leaflet. I know of some pensioners who qualify due to pension credit but are unaware of the offer. Have the RM posted their leaflets advising of the offer straight to landfill to avoid paying out the subsidy? Or is it the usual case of lost in the post (which they claim does not happen).

    I got a leaflet.

If you have opted-out of junk mail things like this are included so may be why some haven't gotten them.

I also go through all mail carefully, even what looks like a was of junk leaflets, to make sure I don't miss anything.

well if you have such low regard for the service
show your opinion by not buying their stamps

how many people simply don't look at the leaflets coming through their doors?

This leaflet was delivered at least two to three weeks ago. As far as I am aware it was delivered to all households around here on the 'junk mail' day. Unfortunately I cannot utilise for my mother as I don't think Attendance Allowance qualifies.

The Royal Mail website says "Vouchers will be delivered to every residence between 8 and 18 October".

Putting aside, for a moment, the merits or otherwise of the qualifying benefits, has anybody actually had a voucher delivered to them? Are RM living up to their promise?

Yes they are. It was an A5 double sided glossy piece of paper entitled (in large print) A Helping Hand from Royal Mail this Christmas.

Additional copies of leaflet can be obtained at www.royalmail.com/stampoffer

I purchased my stamps yesterday, and i've not received any communication about this offer, despite the fact i am eligble for it. No leaflets, no letters, no voucher, (and i read everything.) Without mse, i simply wouldn't have known about this offer, so thanks mse. I wonder how many of the five million people who are eligble, will take advantage of this offer? I suspect many, will never know about it, particularly pensioners in receipt of pension credit.
Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

    Exactly the issue!.
If the eligible people don't know then they won't take up the offer.
I checked the junk mail in a nearby empty property. No leaflet or voucher.
But then again I don't know if the leaflet was to go to every household or just every eligible household.
I know of four neighbours who are pensioners that get pension credit. Not one admits to receiving a leaflet or voucher.
And only one recalled mention of the discount scheme, but assumed she was not eligible. As she expected to get something in the post.

If you're not on benefits some sites are still selling stamps at a discount. Personally I've been using stamps-direct.com who I have found to have excellent service.
