    only if it's really cruddy but don't use any chemicals at all in there, no getting the missies up there with the cif, try the hoover route i suggested but put the hose over the pipe before you switch it on or you will get wet.

    it's a glowworm ultimate prob cast iron heat exchanger, age somewhere in the 80's good old work horses nowt much to go wrong & tbh i would only replace it if it's knackered.

  • Ha, ok yeah I'll get that sorted over the weekend and then updat you guys if its fixed. Any diagnostic tests I can do while I'm up there to see what the problem could be?
