there is an issue on some monitors when after switched on for day 20ish seconds, or sometimes a few minutes turn themselves off.

This is due to a faulty capacitor inside, as once seen on Dell monitors. The fix was on youtube for some monitors with this fault

Thanks will try and find it ........
  • Mine is cracking on a bit. It'll occassionally turn the screen off but the power light will stay on. I turn it off, lift it up 6 inches and bang it back down on the desk and it'll turn on and run OK. Its a dry joint but I can't be bothered to find out where.
