My Karrimore traininers (that I bought from SD) are still going strong after years & years. In fact, I think they have lasted longer than any other pair of trainers that I have ever owned.

i bought some of their walking shoes - they looked good and were great for about 2-3 months. after that a piece of plastic at the back came out on both shoes and stabbed me every time i walked.

Better than some of the really cheap shoes but in future i'd avoid them and pay for something better

I've bought a few pairs, had a problem with one of them (rubber sole came loose at bottom, half of it was flapping about) after 3 months of heavy use and I got an exchange (with receipt) with no hassle at all. No complaints, they were a great price and got good customer service.

wrt walking boots...buy the best that you can afford.

It's not worth skimping if you're serious about comfortable and durable boots/shoes.

I love my Merrells.
