  • Thanks for responding.
Yes I can see the subject line and I can delete posts unopened but when I try to actually open one to read it I get a message saying the mail may have become corrupted.
It remains in the inbox but shows as opened even tho I cant read it.
    Does this help?

  • Have managed to access my account through my DD's laptop and I still cannot open my lineone.emails.
The message comes up each time that the email is corrupted.
However if I forward the messages to my BT account then no problem.
    Anyone any ideas about this?
I deliberately keep my email separated into 2 catogories and I don't like hotmail or gmail.
Besides I want to access my lineone account!! Help.:mad:

I resume you're using a website to access your lineone emails, therefore at a guess the website isn't compatible with your browser.

Try one of the many other browsers, or try using IE with add-ons disabled.
How do I add a signature?
  • Are you using TalkTalk's webmail at www.talktalk.co.uk? It's still working for me. I use IE9 or the current version of Firefox, both access emails fine. You could try asking people to email you at a newer email address but sadly my wishes are still being ignored so I still have to check periodically.

You are probably going to have to contact talk talk. If you have cancelled the talktalk service, the account may now be closed.

There is another way to check email, read messages, and delete them. This can also be used to delete one corrupt message to let the others flow through, but the messages must be on a smtp server and may not be that straight forward to do.

Scroll down the page below and look for "How to check or read email with telnet" You will need thinks like account name, smtp server name and passwords. plus you may have to allow the associated ports through on both your pc firewall and router.

    Good Luck!
  • Disable adblock add ins to see if that is causing the problem.
