Just received a PCN (caught by a camera) in respect of supposedly parking my van on a double yellow line to unload/load (small white signage further down the road 'No Loading/Unloading at anytime').

All I actually did was pull over to answer my mobile phone (clearly see in pictures submitted with notice) and not parking or loading/unloading as stated ?

Have I a case to appeal or should I just pay the fine ?

I would advice registering on pepipoo for this and asking there, they need a whole lot more information than what you are giving, they will want to see a scan of any letters you have received minus personal stuff like address and reg number, so scrub that from the image, and upload to https://www.photobucket.com . Also if you have a google street view of the area that could be linked in as well.

So create a new thread below and ask the guys there if an appeal is worth it, imo all council tickets should be appealed.
