Watch TV on my Mac/Laptop without internet?

Hey Members,
Small question, is it possible to watch like freeview from my Mac without access to the internet?

I understand theres packs out there where you plug an antenna in the usb, I'm fine with that but would i need some sort of connectivity?

I have access to a coax port in the room i want to watch the tv.

Sorry it might sound simple but i just want know before i go out purchase a kit? Any links would be great too.
Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.

    If you buy the usb freeview dongle type with an antenna connection, you won't need access to the internet. I have one myself and it works well but does need a proper aerial connection, which you appear to have anyway.
