self employed and tax credits

ive been offerd self employed job 2 days a wk which fit in with kids at school ,we already get wtc and ctc as hubby works 25 a wk only as hes disabled ,how do i work out my self employed earnings as no 2 days a week will have same pay etc ,ive no idea how it works ,any advice be fab ,ty

    im no expert but i think you would have to work out an average per week/month/year that you expect to be earning.
    you can go to websites like entitled2 to work out how your new income may affect your current benefits.

    For tax credits, you'll need to estimate what your earnings will be, and then payments will initially be based on your estimate. At the end of the year, your award will be finalised based on your actual earnings. If you've been overpaid you'll have to make a repayment (or have future payments adjusted downwards), and if you've been underpaid you'll get an extra payment to make up the shortfall.
