A friend recieve a letter today from, DWP...
Brief outline:
Person A was on DLA and Incap. Person B was their Carer and claiming CA and a small amount of IS.
Person A was taken off Incap and moved onto ESA with the same money.
But today Person B rec'd letter in their name with their NI number stating that they are now in recipt of ESA, CA and IS and their partner (Person A) is now in reciept of Incap at only £15 a week.
It then lists the weekly income as:
Person B first at
ESA £95
CA £58
Then it lists the Incap for Person A at £15 when they have just migrated to ESA?
Why would they have Person B down as being on ESA when they only claim CA and IS?
Both the weekly money coming in is exactly the same though..

Hmmm, once converted to ESA then IB ends. To start with, does person B claim IS for person A, as their carer? Assuming so, ESA and IB for person A aside, this looks like changes to person B's IS claim -could be an admin error? (as you say the amounts are the same).0
