Iscs ESA

Hi there,

I have helped my mum with the ESA forms and we've got a letter detailing that the assessment rate will be paid, which has been back dated and paid however an odd £10 or so payment has also been paid and it says ISCS in the transaction and this was paid seperately to the ESA. I understand this is something called income support computer system? What's it all about?!

cheers

You're right, ISCS is the Income Support Computer System that IS claims are built and paid on. Bit difficult to advise on the details so far, but £10 sounds like the annual Christmas bonus for some IS customers. Was your mother on IS previously? ESA is processed and paid on the Jobseekers Allowance system, there should be no link as far as I know. More details needed I'm afraid.
