Ok so I have decided I am not going to beat myself up about this.
I know that I am not the only on in this situation.
I am going to re-evaluate the financial situation on 1st January 2013 - I am then going to set about a yearly target to get this debt gone.
Will keep you all posted.

Hi! I found your diary via pm23226's diary. I've subscribed to both.
I love New Year - you're not the only one needing a fresh start with the finances. Do you use a spreadsheet to track your spending / saving / debt reduction? It's great to see the amounts changing month by month. I'm looking forward to setting up another one after Christmas.
Have a good Christmas! :santa2:0 -
No I dont have a spreadsheet I just keep it all written down in my diary then update it all each month.
Spreadsheet sounds good though but I would probably mess it up somehow me & excel dont get along LOL
Have a nice Christmas
