Hi there, im new to this forum. Im going through a rough breakup and need to change my joint claim at tax credits to a single claim. Ive always been in a joint claim so in not all together sure what all happens. Ive 2 kids with the disability element on my claim and as me and my ex both work, him 39hrs me 16hrs. Im worried if it will take long once i cancel the joint claim for my single one to start as i really dont want to get into hardship if i have to wait long. Thank you in advance.
