Hi,
We have Sky movies and just recently, think its since they changed the channels, we have to input the Pin number when we want to watch films rated 12, 15 or 18. Is this happening everywhere and is there a way round it?

there's no way around it. its a regulatory requirement.0

Strange, I thought you could configure it the way you wish by using the parental controls menu.0
-
I think the regulatory requirement is for films before 9pm- The parental control settings on the services menu should hold good after 9pm0

Has anyone found out how to turn this off. People who don't have kids it's ridiculous.
If you use the settings you can only select a minimum parental requirement (Different levels of security). Anyone know if it can be changed?0 -

Sky Digibox, since the heading of this thread is Sky Movies it was assumed you're on Sky.0 -
Sky has now made all 12, 15 etc movies locked, you can not take it off, you will just have to keep typing in your pin0

We don't subscribe to Sky movies but other "parental control" programs show on our Digibox without a PIN if the box has been set up not to request a PIN in the services menu #3, then you toggle "PIN on/off" with the red button0 -

How dare you post that? Some people can't have kids through no fault of their own.0
