How long does stronghold take to work?

One of my dogs has been scratching like mad, so have given her and the other two a dose of stronghold over the weekend. She's still scratching and I really hate to see her so uncomfortable, so just wondered when I could see an effect from the treatment and if there's anything else I should/can do to alleviate the itchiness for her.

A couple of days to kill the fleas I believe. But don't forget the bites are still there and histamine flooding the system, this takes time to dissipate. It is easy to get trapped in the 'itch-scratch cycle' so try to stop this. Cold compresses help relieve itching, ask your vet about anti histamines.
