Contents Insurance for House Sharers

I have been told by Budget Insurance that I am not eligible for any of their Home Insurance products as I live in a house shared by professionals.

Can you post your contents insurance provider if you're living in shared accommodation?

Where can I get a Contents Insurance that covers me in a shared house? It should also have accidental cover for Landlords fixtures and fittings. Ideally, the insurance would also cover personal liability.

It depends on how many people you share with and the type of contract. If you share with just one other than it's easy to be covered by a main stream insurer otherwise
Endsleigh Insurance and Homelet Insurance are likely to cover you. (Google them.)
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
