PPI Claiming When dont know acc no or if it had PPI?

Basically over the years ive had numerous credit cards with many different lenders, ive got hold of my credit report on with what banks ive used etc...
But the thing is i dont know any of the old account numbers and even if i paid any PPI on them.
Is there any way for me to find this information out or am i stuck?

    You could contact the lenders and ask them outright!
    Failing that, you'll need to write a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to them. This costs £10 per lender, but should provide all information held on file for you for at least six years and (sometimes) longer.

    Just rang Barclaycard and they didnt have any PPI on file for me but they were willing to check which is good, lets hope the others are as good.
