Yes indeed. I have also been getting great pleasure from looking at recent statements for accounts that I have paid off and managed to get the balance to £0.00. I think I will frame them (lol)....

It's such an achivement isn't it to see everything going down and it gives you more incentive to continue to pay things off.

Its really not sad at all i check my accounts every day at least, just because i am seeing my loan decrease all the time and it feels good, cant wait till its zero though

Did ask to close my account over the phone, they agreed and then sent another statement with a clear balance and increased the credit limit!!!! have just left it , just there as said in other post.... for just in case - but should be rid really.
