Tax return for my Ltd company

Hi everyone,

Here comes a bit of a daft question i assume (in that i should really know the anwer already) but....

I started a Ltd company in Feb 06.

At the start of this year, (07) I received a form to check and update the company details etc, which I completed and sent back with the relevant paymnent.

Recently (cant recall when exactly) I received a 'tax' like form to complete.

Now, to cut a along stroy short, I filed the form away and have suddenly remembered that I have not completed it yet.

Im just worried that Ive have missed a deadline or something!

In the past I have completed self assesment forms but usualy they arrived ages before they were due in, which is why ive sorted let this form slip. (Thats my excuse anyway)

Can anyone tell me when this should have (or be) submitted by?

Not sure what "tax return" it will be.

It could be the corporation tax return - ct is due 9 months after the business year end.

Or, it could be the employers annual return for the tax year end 5/4/07 due for submission in May 07.

It sounds like the form you completed was the Companies House annual return. Don't forget you also have to file company accounts at Companies House in the format prescribed by the companies act.

Ask your accountant if you are in doubt - that's what they're there for.

Thats what id say, have a word with your accountant. If woried, setup your registered address at the accountants office.
