Need a new kitchen, help + advice required, Wickes/Ikea/B+Q ?

Hey guys,

Looking for any help+advice with getting a new kitchen

Really liked the look of the high gloss ones in both Ikea and B+Q, B+Q however had a lvoely looking "plum" coloured one.

Are the cooke and Lewis units any good?

Look for a local company selling kitchen units. They'll probably be half the price of B&Q, etc.

Cooke & Lewis units are better than Ikea but more money. The doors are proper lacqured ones not vinyl wrap either.

Not famed for service or delivery accuracy though. Also watch out they do not price you for a C&L door on a IT carcasse, cos the latter is coffee bean patterned garbage.

I've used DIY-kitchens.com - really good quality & selection on units and sinks, worktop, electicals etc but supply only. Cheaper than the rest per unit. So fit yourself or get a kitchen fitter - It'll work out cheaper than a supply and 'free' fit package'
