advice on wii ( the nintendo kind )

I am traveling to china this week and thinking of getting a wii and ps3, does anyone know if i buy them will they work in the uk?

Any help, advice or websites with info on would be great.

Games won't work though - region specific coded.

unless your gonna get all your games from china i wouldent bother.
