Is this allowed on Ebay?

Ok so I sold something on Ebay over the weekend, collection only, and I mentioned in another thread that I had to make a second chance offer to this person, as the first winning bidder wanted to send a courier. Anyway I wasn't going to offer this person a second chance, I was just going to relist it, as he seemed a bit 'odd' but I decided what the hell after reading more feedback he'd been left since. (he only had 20 at the time, now he has 30) Anyway the reason I thought he was a bit odd was he had bought something not working/faulty off ebay for £41 then had it on his own account the next day starting at 99p, with the exact same photo and the exact wording from the listing he bought it from. Anyway lo and behold he's done the exact same thing with the item he bought from me. Using my photo and my wording.
I'm not sure how much this bugs me. One because I'm not sure why he would bother lol, and 2 because I doubt he would get anymore for it than he paid me. I just find it really strange. He is Polish, so maybe he just finds it easier to copy my wording than work out his own, but I'm pretty sure from his messages to me that he understands English and can write it perfectly well so it would seem.
I know you're not allowed to copy someones wording or photos from an item currently listed on ebay then use them on your own listing, but does this still stand in this case, for something someone bought from you?
Incidently the first one he did this with, someone bid on it almost straight away, then when I looked again, he had ended bidding on it and there were no bids and it was apparently unsold. I don't know, I still find him odd! lol.
I suppose I'm just curious as to whether he's allowed to do it? But it does bug me a bit as well.

It might not have been unsold, he may have ended it for an offer. I suspect it's not allowed still as the photos in particular could still be subject to copyright issues. I would report it anyway. And block them.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

No they are not meant to copy so if it does bother you then report to eBay.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

I suppose I'm just being paranoid that him using my photo and my wording and living in the same town, somehow looks like I'm doing something dodgy, like I might have two accounts or something, or I dunno, just like I'm up to no good haha. I was already paranoid about having to offer it to someone else. Plus it annoys me that he's too lazy to take his own picture and write his own advert for it. I've reported it anyway although I doubt ebay will care as he bought it off me, so it's not like I'm still selling one of the same items. I'd message him and tell him I'm not happy about it, but as he knows where I live, I'll leave it to ebay

Well Ebay haven't bothered to do anything as I suspected. It's still listed, and still has no bids on it yet.0

It's strange at best.
My first language isn't English (it's actually my third), but I'm sure that in various European languages, I could work it out if given 20 minutes, sentence word order and a dictionary.
Something seems not right, or he's in for a long-term loss

My advert for it wasn't even that long, so it's not like he wouldn't have been able to write his own for it. But then as it wasn't working when he bought it, unless he knows what is wrong with it, then I suppose the only wording he can use is mine lol. He could have at least took his own photo though and tried to maybe change the wording a little bit. Anyone that reads his feedback would see he bought it off ebay and would see he's using the same wording and photo as my listing and passing it off as his own, which just makes him look a bit shady, as I thought that when I saw his other one listed was copied from the one he bought off ebay also. I don't know if he thinks everyone is stupid and blind.0

Especially when eBay feedback is so open.
Admittedly though, I only use the site to shift old stock (I'm sitting in an office above about 2 million CD's at the moment) or to shift old cars (currently got a Skoda with 550k miles and a Ford S-Max with a blown turbo and over 300k miles on there), so doing something like that wouldn't occur to me.

I'm quite nosey when it comes to feedback. I have way too much time on my hands

Ex music event management vehicle.
The average car on those sorts of dutys (on our fleet at least) does 50-60k a year and is kept for 3 years. That Skoda's been used by a girl who's done 6-7 nights a week for about 47 weeks a year, hence the mileage. The S-max has been used for the same sort of duties, and has also averaged about 90k a year
The PR/A&R cars do 30-40k yearly for 3 years, but they're driven much more harshly!
