I was successful with a bank charge claim back before when this issue first came to light years ago. Can I do another bank charge claim? Would this be wise or will my bank just say something along the lines of 'youve had some money of us already so get lost!!!!' ?

Almost certainly not on the same basis. After the banks won the court case, the reasons that succeed are very much limited. You cant use unfair any more for example.
So, what would your reason be?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. It can be a reason for a bank to consider a goodwill payment. However, typically it has to be a worsening position and where you have arrears in priority debts. You can ask them. They will normally ask you to fill out an income and expenditure list. They will then look at your spending habits along with that and see if you are tight on budget as you say or whether you have luxury items in there. If they see luxury items on your statement, they will usually refuse.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. It appears a one off refund of bank charges obviously hasn't helped you in the long term.
I would urge you to pop yourself over the the Debt Free Wannabe board, post your SoA there and get some real long term help in addressing your financial issues
