You must have lovely kids. My second child is the best contraception known to man, 100% safe. I can wholeheartedly say I have not felt broody once since he arrrived, though I do love him dearly.

I do understand how you feel though as after having my first baby my broodyness went into overdrive and I longed for another child. Sometimes there is no logic to our feelings and they can overwhelm us.

This is one of the reasons we have chosen to just have the one child! We always said we would have two- but we figure that you can't be so lucky as to have two like our son! He is the happiest sweetest most socialable little boy (just turned 1). We realise how lucky we are to have him, and have decided to just make the most of him, as finances would also be very stretched with another child

Not sure ... my 16 year old needs me more than my 7 year old does, and my marriage is good so I do feel 'needed'. I'm not lonely or wanting attention.

In my case I think I've pushed to the back of my mind that I wanted another baby after I miscarried 7 years ago.

Am probably not describing myself well, cos yes my 17 yrs old twins my 14 yr olds youngest even my 20 yr old still need me. And of course my old man needs me too.

But i mean at 7 they dont need us in a way that a baby does?
A younger child needs their mum or should i say relies on mum more.

nope I'm still not making sense LOL am going to give up LOL

I know what you mean :)

I can't decide if I just want a baby, as opposed to another child. Not sure I want a 2 year old again :o I wish I weren't allwergic to pretty much every pet I can think of!
