    there is no access to the pips under the boiler. can i fiil water in to the upstairs radiators. as i said there is no water coming out when i unscrew the valves, so i can fill up the radiators.

    If your house is new and less than two years old, is it still covered under the builders warranty? I had a problem with my heating, and Miller Homes came out and repaired it even after 18months. It might be worth checking that - I think it's part of the NHBC warranty, but i don't know if the warranty is different from different builders.

    Worth a go...

    It won't do much good as the boiler needs to be pressurised upto about 1-1.5 bar anyway.

    I don't understand why your guage shows a small pressure ????
    It might be faulty.

    You have to find this filling loop even if it means moving cupboards out of the way. Topping up the system is a normal procedure that needs to done regularly.

    Basically, what you are looking for is a connection between the cold water pipe and the flow or return pipes and this has a tap on it.
