Hi, i wonder wether anyone can link me to a site which will show how much car tax my friend will have to pay on his 2.5 petrol car. Another friend has said it will be in the higher car tax like 4 x 4's , any clues ?

I have tried to find it but not having much luck.

HTH, quite easy to find really just search DVLA, depends on the year the car was made, and also the amount of emissions if its built after 2001 rather than the size of the engine but you should be able to work it out from this link.

And follow the link for vehicle enquiry on the left - if you then put the reg and make into the checker it tells you if the car is taxed, but also the rate.
