Family Trees

It would seem, at first glance, to be cheaper to buy the software again rather than renew a subscription when it expires.
.
This is what I am doing - I got the software with my Clubcard vouchers and the 6 months free membership. Then I paid the extra 6 months myself (about £50). When that ended, instead of renewing for the year, I cancelled it and I'm waiting a few months for the newer version to come out, so that I can get the new version with the 6 months free again.
I have to say, I found out SO much with the 6 months free membership, it really was worth it. And VERY addictive.
Just be prepared to find out some things that might not sit well with you/might be a bit of a surprise. I've found out some horrible and bizarre things!0 -
I did my family tree as the direct male line and found a spreadsheet template which I then tinkered with to suit my needs better. Was able to include siblings and marriages easily.
Doesn't sound like what you're after though?0
