Ebay Vouchers - How much!?!

Listed a couple of £5 vouchers on the bay as we prefer pampers so were going spare.

So £10 vouchers with a 99p listing start (to save on fees) - Just sold for £22!

What am i missing? Someone has willingly paid me over double the value to have a voucher posted to them :o

Should I be concerned? Buyer has 7 feedback score for buying only so am planning on a Special Delivery upgrade so they arrive! :D

You're going to have to explain what that first sentence means.
  • I think OP means the vouchers are worth £5 each. So total of £10 which someone has just paid £22 for.

Nowt queer as folk, as they say. :o

Someone else mentioned this the other day, someone had bid £8 for vouchers worth £7. I don't get it, but it seems to happen quite often.

Read your listing back or get someone to give it a look for you and make sure your wording's not ambiguous.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Doesn't look ambiguous to me, reads that there are 2 vouchers each worth £5 so £10 in total.

Then either they've got a paypal voucher burning a hole in their pocket, they know something you don't, or they're stupid.

Granted, I have a dim view of humanity, but I'll go with the third option :D

I usually see vouchers selling for face value or a few pound more but never more than double of what they are worth. Very odd.
A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.
  • Geri, the vouchers were for huggies.

Can't see anything wrong with the listing meself. I see there were other bids above the £10 also ... some people are odd ...
