    Good morning all!

Got loooooooads to get on with this week!! MUST MUST MUST sit down and organise Uni files before it all becomes and unrecognisable guddle of carp....

My charming mother who has refused to give me my stuff back since February is now demanding I get it all moved before Saturday or its all getting dumped. So I managed to grab a car load from the house yesterday while I went to work and she wasnt in, Ive got uni today and tomorrow and me and DS are supposed to be going away on Wed!!! IVe asked and begged for it all summer and she was busy, or hadnt emptied my freezer, was using it, etc etc or she wasnt in. DS went without his bike and his scooter etc ALL SUMMER HOLS and now I need to get it asap or shes chucking it. I actually HATE that woman...

So after Uni today I will need to go and put as much in the car as possible. I might see if I can manage more than one trip, but its 30 miles away, so will have to see how I manage for time and when DS needs to be fed! :rotfl:

Anyway - onwards and upwards and all that :D

Lots of love n hugs n vibes for DAncemum... and any one else who wants xxx
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

Oh my! Get well soon vibes to Dancemum's DH!

Am wfh today, got a dial in meeting in 3 mins so very quick update.
All tidy here, kiddies helped clear the conservatory last night and we made all the beds this morning. All the toys are away, DW emptied, DS swept up the rice after tea last night :A and they helped me put the rubbish out.

Must remember to put the brown bin out this morning!

So, we are all tidy set for some cleaning at lunchtime!

    Catch you later

 Hi everyone - and welcome to all the newbies.

I'm back from a week away with DH visiting relatives in London, Wiltshire, Wales and the West Midlands. Drove long distances, enjoyed some leisure time, spent a bit of money, caught up with lots of news, obviously I did no flying but the house is in a reasonable state.

Thanks for this week's lists, Dustykitten.

Now our handyman/builder is back from his hols, he has started on painting our hall, stairs and landing his morning. He went to Majorca - what am I paying him for? That means that very little flying will be possible this week. I am more-or-less confined to the study but have plenty of work to keep me occupied here.

My DH has an appointment in London today to see the Occupational Health doctor. His future hangs on this appointment. We are both hoping that he will be found medically unfit for his present job and will be able to move into a less stressful area under a different boss.

So sorry to hear your DH is ill, dancemum - what a way to start the week! I hope they can sort out what's wrong quickly.

Hugs to everyone who needs them. Hope those who are unwell recover their GUAG soon.
  • Kitchen table cleared and cleaned, DW emptied and reloaded, wm and td both reloaded, unit's cleared and wiped. Grabbin a cuppa and then back to it.

Dancemum hope your OH is ok and that your OK too. xx

Hi everyone; I'm in this week, assumng Bailey & Cassie will let me!:o Thanks for the Fred, Dusty.

Firstly - calm vibes and a (((HUG))) for Dancemum and GWS vibes for Dancedad.

PixieFairydust honey, I've been in the same domestic situation you're in; horrid, isn't it? Hang in there - each day is one day nearer it all being over.;)

Just for JennyJewell: I thought you might like to see my wee fursister Penny.:o http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17/LameWolf/cda6614e.bmp
It's not a brilliant pic, it was taken on one of those disposable cameras, at my old house, but there's my little love.:o

Huh?? Ecky thump, what were all that about?:rotfl:I don't speak a word of French, but careful reading tells me Congratulations are in order, am I right?:o:beer:

    Now.... <fanfare> I'VE CLEANED THE OVEN!!:T:T:T
Not that it was 'orribly dirty, but it's a very difficult task for me, so I decided to take advantage of Mr LW wfh today, as he can take a "loo break" to dismantle the removable bits and cart them to the draining board for me, and reassemble them once cleaned.:o

  • I'm in this week, my daughter is having a friend round on Thursday, panic stations! She is only 6, but I feel guilty that I've avoided her having friends round to play for her first year at school because the house is always a tip. It's really not fair, and I'm turning into my mother, because she never used to let ME have friends round when I was in school because of the state of the house, and I used to resent it.

The house is extremely bad at the moment though, because I have been really ill the past 6 weeks, in and out of hospital, and I'm only just recovering. I've got the hospital today actually, so I'll have to see what housework I can fit in beforehand. wish me luck!
