Bratwurst are alrady cooked and so only need to be warmed up / grilled briefly to brown. I have recently been working with a German company in Ireland and their German nationals bought Bratwurst from Lidl and said it was quite good! However they were civil engineers and so may not be on the highest culinary plain.0

Yummy Bratwurst, I used to eat these in Germany off the wagon as curry wurst. Managed to make my own "version" of the curry sauce they put over the top by combining tomatoe ketchup and curry powder in a saucepan on a very gentle heat. I add water as it thickens to make it just the same consitency as thick tomatoe ketchup. I havent got any measurements as I tend to just taste it as I go along. When its done pour on top like a hot dog without the bun.Who would like my last penny?0
