Temping so what do I put on application form?

Normally a full time mum, I'm working one day a week doing consultancy work for my old company for at least a couple of months possibly longer depending on how long I'm needed. Want to take the opportunity to apply for the 18 month capital one card.

So what should I put for my earnings? Would it be fraudulent to just give an annual equivalent of my weekly pay?

Any advice much appreciated.

That should be ok. When applicants write down their annual salaries they are not undertaking to stay at the same job all year. Giving your current salary is fine.

Hi, just getting round to filling out the form and got another question.

How long have I been with my employer?

Well this is my first month of temping for them again. Started working for them in 1995, went on mat leave in 2003. Have done the odd bit of project work for them whilst I've been off on my extended maternity career break so have been intermittently on the payroll.

Am I committing any crime by saying I've been with them for 9 years odd?

How about adding up all the time you actually worked there? eg if you joined them 9 years ago but took 1 year off in total then put down 8 years. Nothing fraudulent about that.
