Sliding fitted wardrobes

Can anyone recommend a tradesman/company who can supply and/or fit good quality sliding wardrobe doors at a resasonable price in the Glasgow/Lanarkshire area.

There are no shortage of companies out there but I would be interested to hear anyones personal recommendations (or ones to avoid for that matter).

I have IKEA sliding wardrobes - pretty good. Lots cheaper than Sharps etc. Lots of tradesman on ebay etc who advertise to fit.

Personally, I would speak to a self employed joiner and buy the doors, tracks etc from a DIY store ... rather than paying a specialist sliding door company.

We know a joiner, which helps ... and bought three full height mirror doors from Homebase.

The joiner fitted the top track.at the top on a timber frame as the doors, which I think we're 8 feet high are slightly shorter than the ceiling height.
That doesn't bother us, as this was plaster boarded and painted to match the walls.

I used a company called Wizard Wardrobes
They designed and supplied all the materials including made to measure doors, I use a local tradesman to put them together as im no good at DIY.

Went together easily, fitted exactly and they run smoothly, the site will give you a supply only price if you know your sizes.

And the site is good fun to design your doors!
