Secondary Glazing - opinions please

Hi All, We have huge single glazed Edwardian sash windows in our bedroom. I would like to secondary glaze these, and am looking for ways to convince my husband to spend the £1100 quoted. I have put forward:- reduced noise (window onto road) better insulation reduced condensation (a bit of a nightmare) better security…

Thanks guys.

We are good with other options for getting rid of condensation, but it isn't anywhere else except the back of these windows.

We are happy to do the acoustic glass!
