Re - register on ebay!

Can anyone help with a queery I have?

I have never used ebay either for buying or selling but I did register about a year ago.
I would now like to start using it but would like to change my username / password etc, (I actually want to register again from scratch)

Same thing with Paypal! I registered at the same time but don't think I "verified" it.

I thought it would just be simpler to start again from scratch but when I put my original user name and password in, it didn't recognise the password I have.

Is there a simple way I can get rid of the original registration and start again?

Is there a forgotten password option on eBay? If you can get back into your old account then you'll be able to change your username and password.

I have phoned ebay a few times and ALWAYS found their telephone manner most helpful and quick too. Try giving them a call.

I think many a UK company could learn a thing or two from both eBay and Paypal.

    Thanks! MultiCat and WLM21,

I got into my ebay account and it looks like I can "edit" my username and password so I will try that. (Read on their "rules" that if you cancell an account, you can't open another one???? Maybe they meant the SAME account???)

As for Paypal - put my email and password in and it didn't recognise my email addresss so I assume my account doesn't exist. (Had a feeling I hadn't verified it)
    Will start again with that.
