Too many Loans & Credit Cards to remember minor details!!!!

Over the past 10 years I've had 3 loans (all paid and closed) and approximately 7 credit cards, some are closed, others still in use.
I'm thinking of looking into PPI claims for all of the above but my main question will be how will I tell the companies that I feel the PPI was mis sold to me?!!!
My problem is, I have had so many loans and cc's that I can't remember the details for each one. All would have been applied for online so if I remember correctly there would have been a box to tick if I wanted the PPI, but if I ticked it, that was my decision so how would I claim that it was mis sold???
Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.

We dont know. How were you mis-sold?All would have been applied for online
which eliminates the majority of the reasons for complaint. Online applications require you to choose what you want. Unless there is a failing in the online process, you would not normally get a complaint upheld as you made the choice to have it. It wasnt sold to you. just because you have ppi doesn't mean its mis-sold. PPI it not illegal or wrong to have. you haven't really identified if you have ppi let alone it being mis-sold. you dont really have a complaint.0
