Hope someone might now what this means please.
Lately, everytime we open our Excel up to do our spreadsheets, a message sits on the screen as follows:
c/windows/syswow64/sgxladdin/dll
Don't have a clue what that is all about. Anyone able to help? Thanks in advance.
Second question is about our other computer. It keeps cutting out and going to blue screen and restarting. I thought I had done all the updates and checks to sort it out but this morning it did it again.
I therefore have run Tools -Error checking - on the C drive. The fix file system errors ran fine. I have run the scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors twice as each time it runs then returns a message that it could not complete the disk check. Why would that be please?

The error is from excel trying to link to sage. Have you recently removed sage?
to stop it (from google)- Open Microsoft Excel
- Click the Microsoft Office button (that’s the large ugly button in the top left hand corner)
- Click Excel Options button at the bottom right of the menu
- Click Add-ins in the left hand navigator
- Now in the right hand pane, click the Manage Add-ins button at the bottom – the Add-ins dialog should appear.
- Clear the checkbox next to the add-in that reads SGXLADDIN.DLL
- Click OK and restart Excel
The cutting out could be overheating. Is the fan clear/working?0 -
No we have added Sage recently though. Thank you for reply and will check the other comp foR dust.0
