Arrhh poor Maud - is there stronger anti b's she can go on. A bit different I know but when I had Pneumonia it was the drip anti b's that shifted it.x

  • Good afternoon everyone :)

Just a quick hello and update before I set off for work, I hate working weekends but every little bit of overtime helps.

Very busy morning and lovely and sunny so lots of washing done, some dried already and all bedding now drying on the line. Have been shopping and bought a few little Christmas stocking fillers for DD and DGD. Now eating a whoopsie sandwich for lunch then setting off for work.

I still haven't made the oil cleanser so must do that later. Yesterday's yoghurt effort seems a bit thicker so will try that when I get home. Now have enough little balls of wool to make a stripy scarf, I think that's one to start when I am watching Downton Abbey later.

Good wishes for all those people and pets under the weather.

I hope everyone has a super end to their weekend :)

Hi all,it was very misty & cold when I took Leo out this morning with ground frost, but the sun has popped out now.We have just finished decorating the room,we're pleased with it-just need to get all the furniture back now.
Need to pop to Mr S for a couple of cards, will see if there are any ys things DH & I can have for tea-I've just put the roast beef in gravy back in the freezer when I found out both DS would be out.I fancy making a sponge pud,but it may not happen :D if the furniture shifting goes on too late.
BB-hope Maud gets better soon x

Hope they kick in then, perhaps she needs to clear the mucous before she can really improve, fingers crossed. x

    Evening all

Well I went for a jog first thing, then spent 2 hours spring cleaning the house. Cleaned bathroom, toilet, kitchen, tidied lounge and bedrooms, hoovered thoughout, mopped floors, cleaned microwave, de-scaled kettle, put away laundry mountain, hung new curtains (finally! :rotfl:). Put one load of washing on which more or less dried outside. Phew!

Then I went out for lunch with my friend :D went to a nice cosy pub. Lovely time. But had a phonecall with some bad news at the end :( won't go into it, but a family member has been taken to hospital.

I'm home now, cwtched in on sofa and not planning on moving for awhile.
