Best scanner for under £100?

Hi all. I need to purchase a stand alone scanner for my expenses (receipts etc) when I come back from my travels. I don't want to spend too long waiting for the machine to warm up and deliver what I think is basic scanning.

Any idea or recommendations? Many thanks.

The canon lide's take a lot of beating. I've had mine for years and can hand on heart say I've never had a problem.

A lot of them are small enough to fit in a laptop bag as well.

Would a mobile phone picture not do the job?

I have a scanner but 99% of the time these days I use my camera or phone to take a picture which becomes a jpeg file so same format as scanned image.
