Car finance with poor credit rating

Anyone recommend 2nd hand car dealers within the West Midlands who specialise with poor credit rating.

I've looked at Carcraft but the cars seem pricey.

Looking for finance up to £4.500, with a vectra 05 for trade in.

What are your vehicular requirements that require you to replace your current car?

Go with Carcraft if they'll have you. If you've a poor credit rating you'll get hammered on interest anyway. The companies that specialised in car finance for bad credit charged around 30% APR.

Why not just run the car you currently have instead of taking on credit you can't afford?

Plenty of places but with interest of 30%+ AND overpriced cars your better off keeping your current car which should last a good few years yet.

Your £4500 loan and part ex will probably see you in a car thats 1 or 2 years newer or maybe 3 if your lucky.
But that loans likely to see you pay back double the amount...

So maybe £9000 for a car thats 3 years newer but will take 5 years to pay???
Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...

  • I have a 1.8, so looking for a smaller car.

My finances have improved over the last few years, so, to the person who said I can't afford it, I can.

However, my credit file shows I had issues a fw years ago.

    your vectra is unwanted
    its a lemon
so you want a better car
    your finances are better
listen to the black eyed peas and instead of start walking start saving
madness to get tied into a finance package thats suits everyone but the buyer
    live within your means
  • Count your self lucky you have a 2005 car.

I know a lot of people with "poor credit" who would love a 2005. Or just a car for that matter..

So you're going to spend at least £200 a month at at least 30% interest to buy a car to save you maybe £50 a month on fuel?????

If you really really must drive something more economical sell your own car privately - stick it on at £1995 and then buy a corsa 1.2 with that money.

How much have you saved "over the last few years?"

To try to save a few quid on a smaller financed car at a horrific APR is simply lunacy.

Leave your bad credit a distant memory and look forward to it dropping off your file.

For goodness sake don't carry on with this silly idea.
