Hi
I'm sorry if this isn't the right section to ask this, but I'm new to these forums and I need some help as quickly as possible.
A relative was recently taken into hospital with kidney failure. They're on a dialysis machine and they're obviously incapable of working. We don't know how long they'll be in the hospital and we don't know if they'll be able to work again when they come out.
What we need to know is will the PPI that they have on their credit cards cover them for this illness?
I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm just handling this side of things because my family aren't coping so well.
Thank you all

Short of reading through the T/C of the PPI. The only way to find out is to call the card company.
But that will have to be the card holder and not you.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
She's not in a condition where she would be able to make the calls at the moment, would they speak to someone else on her behalf if the hospital confirmed her condition? Not really sure how to proceed.0

The only way to see would be contacting the insurer.
I don't see them giving you account information but on the other hand I can't see them declining to send any claim form to the card holder's address.0 -
Ok thanks very much for your help. I'm out of my depth here, trying to handle this side of things for my parents. I'll pass that info along.0
