Have you phoned them to ask what the delay is? Or ask if they need you to send anything else in?0

Well I sent in the required proof of address and got a letter back this week thanking me and saying they would be in touch in a few days. I must admit I'm mildly curious about this as no one has asked me before and I've lived here 15 years. I do have one thought in that when I got my Noddle credit report it did link me with a completely erroneous address, since removed. The address sounds similar to mine but is nowhere near me and nothing to do with me. I guess the two addresses got confused by someone. I do wonder if the other credit agencies may have this erroneous information on file and if that's caused a problem. I need to check this I suppose.
Apart from that I'm squeaky clean! Noddle gives me 5/5 for what its worth (not much probably) and have nothing at all detrimental on my credit record. I had assumed it was standard practioce to ask for this information but from the above replies, it seems not.0

i think mine was referred as i have gone from full time work to part time work (which of course I declared) so my salary has dropped by £10k per year. But was really pleased I was accepted.

Well I’ve checked the other credit agencies and no erroneous addresses or anything else on there. There is one other possibility and that is an oddity in the addresses where I live. There are 4 properties here, numbered 1-4. However 1-2 are numbered 1-2 xxxxxx cottages and 2-4 are numbered 2-4 xxxxxx bungalows. I checked this out previously having issues with the TVL people not believing we had a licence! They are definitely named “cottages” and “bungalows” respectively but on a lot of databases they all show as “cottages”. If I use “cottages” on forms everything works but if I use the correct term “bungalows” it tends to go wrong sometimes.
Apart from that I do not know why they would be asking.0

I too have just applied for a Tesco CC and was sent a letter asking for ID. I've sent it back, and recieved back in the post with a letter saying the would be in touch. When I applied online, it gave me a credit limit and made me submit an agreement.
That was only yesterday I got it back so I would be interested to know when they will get back me . Might give them a call tomorrow. 0 . Might give them a call tomorrow. 0

It took them some time, but I got the card without any further ado. I just wish Tesco's online banking facility was as detailed and capable as Barclaycard's.0
